APA memberships is for all who have made contributions to the scientific study of population issues through their research, teaching, writing, or other related activities.
Regular membership
For professionals, either actively employed or retired irrespective of place of residence. Regular members have full rights to vote in elections and participate in Association activities. Annual subscription $30 USD
Student membership
$10 USD membership fee is for those currently enrolled in university studies of the population. They have full voting rights in the associations. On graduation, they are encouraged to become regular members.

For your information, the APA's membership payment system is counted based on the calendar year so if you make a payment on any day before New Year's Eve, the system would be automatically counted as one year. As the system is designed in such a way, the membership expiration date for all members who paid for their membership fee(s) is December 31st, 20xx.
