−0.1544 and −0.1723 for stunted; CI of −0.1646, −0.1728, −0.1059 and −0.2528 for underweight in India,
Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan respectively. The marginal effects suggested that the strength of the association
between the outcome and explanatory factors varied across the different countries. The findings are significant for
a global understanding of the various determinants of malnutrition in high under-five-mortality settings in different
geographical and socio-cultural contexts.
